SVR was a century-old guest ranch with no web presence and minimal offline branding. Stefanie wrote, designed and built their website and created both the online and offline identities, including font treatments and logo.

The MRU was a new statewide non-profit organization providing search and rescue, traffic and security services on horseback. Stefanie created their online brand and did all site design and development, along with writing all copy based on interviews with the MRU Commanding Officer.

Stefanie was the webmaster at VPR for several years, with sole responsibility for maintaining the full dynamic site and creating all new content, including implementation of streaming audio, podcasts, real-time news headlines, community arts calendar and secure online pledge. She was also responsible for online marketing including a semi-monthly e-newsletter, and developed strategies to grow and streamline the site including repositioning the website in on-air spots for promotion.

AFSP-VT was a statewide local suicide prevention organization in great need of expanding community awareness of their services. Their parent affiliate had a strong online presence, and the local chapter needed to develop their own online identity while remaining in line with the national branding. Stefanie merged locally written content with that from the national site, and designed the Vermont chapter site with an eye to serving individuals deep in crisis.

Stefanie was responsible for creating all web content at this renewable energy company for several years, and single-handedly developed an exceptionally strong online voice, messaging, brand and visual image. She oversaw in-house and lab-based usability studies and implemented site changes according to usability and accessibility outcomes. She also wrote and deployed a three-year Internet strategy plan for the site, and created privacy and best practices documents.

Currently one of the nation's leading green energy companies with endorsements including Al Gore and a veritable Who's Who of performing artists, when Stefanie first worked with NativeEnergy they were a brand new carbon offset/new renewables business with no website, a clip art logo and a weak offline presence. Stefanie designed and built the original website with a primary focus on its information architecture. The company has a complicated product line and needs to present different sets of information to individuals, groups and businesses. Stefanie created a strong online brand for NativeEnergy and built a site that successfully addresses each of its three target audiences.

In addition to creating the NativeEnergy website, Stefanie also redesigned their original clip art logo into the strong logo they continue to use today, both online and in print.

Stefanie has extensive experience writing and editing technical and scientific materials.

Most of her professional writing is either unsigned or ghostwritten under someone else's name. This article is dated, but it carries her own name and provides an accurate reflection of her ability to write engagingly about complicated and technical subject matter.
